Celebrate Earth Day by helping clean up the Charles River!

The Wharton Club of Boston is teaming with the Penn Club of Boston and The Esplanade Association to work on cleaning up the banks of the Charles River. Each year on Earth Day, more than 3,000 volunteers assist with park maintenance. The Annual Earth Day Charles River Cleanup builds on a national effort as part of American Rivers’ National River Cleanup, which to date, has removed over 20.7 million pounds of trash from America’s waterways. The Esplanade Association is a 100% privately funded organization whose mission is to restore and enhance the Charles River Esplanade.
