Why Most Biotech Startups Fail – And What Can We Do About It

Wednesday, February 21, 2018
6pm – 8pm
Alley Cambridge
(10 Ware St, Cambridge, Massachusetts)

Join us February 21st for WAAN Boston’s first educational event of 2018 as we continue our Founder - Funder series. We present two life sciences veterans who began their relationship not with an investment, but by co-authoring a book on why most biotech startups fail – and what can we do about it.

Our panel will feature Scott Dessain, a physician/scientist and biotech co-founder, and Scott Fishman, a medical technology and pharmaceutical industries strategic advisor and healthcare investor. Gail Gilbert Ball, founder and managing partner of Chestnut Street Ventures, a VC firm specializing in Penn-centric investments, will moderate.
