Please join the Wharton Club of Boston on January 27th, 2021 at 7pm as we discuss the current and future state of the U.S. housing market with Wharton Professor Susan Wachter and Georgetown Law Professor Adam Levitin, co-authors of The Great American Housing Bubble.
Since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic, we have seen home prices appreciate at a remarkable pace, particularly in the suburbs. In our conversation with Professors Wachter and Levitin we’ll dive into why this occurred, and whether demographic and macroeconomic trends will be supportive of continued appreciation once the pandemic ends. We’ll also review the current state of the housing finance industry and learn what risks may still lie in the mortgage market today.
There's no cost to attend this event but you must RSVP in advance.
