Dr. Sara Goldrick-Rab
Professor of Higher Education Policy and Sociology at Temple University

A sociologist of higher education, Goldrick-Rab's research focuses on policies that aim to reduce socioeconomic and racial inequalities. While at University of Wisconsin, she founded the Wisconsin HOPE Lab, the nation's only translational research laboratory seeking ways to make college more affordable. Her latest book, Paying the Price: College Costs, Financial Aid, and the Betrayal of the American Dream (University of Chicago, 2016) is an Amazon best-seller and has been featured on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, The New York Review of Books, and CSPAN's Book TV, among other venues. Dr. Goldrick-Rab received her Ph.D. and M.A. in Sociology at UPenn.
